Because walks are not enough

We (the humans) have resorted to cheating. I choose to use pedal power, but Sean's preferred method of dog-walking-transportation is motor powered. Whatever works!

I can't get anything done around here anymore!

Ok, ok! So many requests for more info on our new little puppy!
She's a German Shorthair Pointer
not a Chocolate Lab!
We named her, "Deefor"
as in "D" for dog.
She loves to run along side me on bike rides
but does not like to listen very well when we are at home.
She likes the Dalmatian
but the feeling is not mutual-Nelson hates her and has been known to cower in the closet as a primary defense mechanism.

She slept through the opening of Christmas presents,
but we have yet to sleep through a night since we've had her.
Her gas output rivals that of my husband's.
She likes running with the big dogs
and can actually outrun old man Lucas.
Please note, not all of these dogs live at our house full time-only the little one!

Merry Christmas!

I am warm and snuggly under my new Christmas present which looks a little something like the pictures above. Thanks, mom, for the gorgeous Amy Butler Lotus Brick Path Quilt - I'm lovin' it! (Photo courtesy of Amy Butler Design)
Christmas has been a wonderful blessing this year. We were able to travel to Colorado to spend time with friends. While there, I went rock climbing and snowboarding for the first time (pics to come soon!) We had a blast!
And now back home to the warm Southern California sunshine to enjoy time with family.
I pray you are all able to enjoy the Christmas season and reflect on the love that God has for you. Merry Christmas, everyone!
