Hostess Extraordinaire!
She's done it again! On my left is Jenn and let me just tell you she has all the expertise necessary to throw one great party! If you haven't "met" Jenn yet, be sure to stop by her entertaining blog, Hostess with the Mostess, and newly launched website. There are so many fabulous ideas, decorations, recipes and recommendations for throwing your own great party. Jenn's creativity never ceases to amaze me and you can be sure there will be many great things to come from this hip hostess. The theme of this party was jewelry, provided by the fabulous LilyGirl and cocktails, provided by Jenn and cohost, Mimi. I walked away with a fabulous pair of earrings and an evening full of fun, laughter and great memories. Now that's what a party should be all about! Thanks, Jenn, for a great night!
Hello, again, summer!
This pillow is a party all by itself! I can't even describe to you how gorgeous the colors are in this little beauty! A simple scarf has now been refashioned into the perfect accessory for your home.

I Am Blessed
Today is our 3 year anniversary!
June 11, 2004
Amber captured us beautifully.
My mom made my dress.
My dad sang as he walked me down the aisle.
Allison stood by my side.
Our friend, Batch, married us.
Sean made our rings and...
washed my feet.

Here comes the sun!
I've never seen a more gorgeous yellow color. It's just perfect for warm summer days that turn into cool, sultry evenings. The swaying stalks of wheat even hint at the slightest of breeze to keep one cool. Yellow is the color for summer and now I understand why.
This one of a kind pillow cover can be yours at etsy.

Has Anybody seen the time???
Where has the time gone? Did anyone see it fly away? How can the year possibly be almost half over? I started to ponder this question as I was listing the adorable vintage Vera Calendar towel on ebay. And I noticed that the dates for 1973 match the dates for 2007! Now, just in case you are wondering, no, I was not around in 1973, so I missed this towel the first time it was fashionable. But that's what I love about vintage items - I still get to appreciate them now! Although it does make me a little sad when I find a vintage item in such perfect condition that I can tell it was never used - just stuffed up in some old box somewhere for years. But, we're changing all that these days with a new appreciation of things from the past!
